Shane Donovan is the Career and Technical Education Coordinator at DC International School, where he has also taught computer science, math, physics, and middle and high school robotics. He has been an educator for 13 years in D.C. and Philadelphia. He believes strongly that school should be intentionally designed to undo the history of race, class, and gender-based discrimination that has been baked into American society. He uses blended and personalized learning models in his own classroom, and coaches teachers to use the design cycle to improve their own practices.
