Sarah Hower

My name is Sarah Hower and I've been teaching science for six years at Fossil Ridge High School in Northern Colorado. I currently run the CTE Health Sciences program and HOSA chapter at my school and I teach Anatomy & Physiology and Intro to Health Sciences. In the past I have taught Biology, a few different integrated physical science courses and a 9th grade seminar class. I found the Modern Classrooms Project about two years ago and it has completely changed my life as an educator! I feel I love that I get to teach students across all grade levels and abilities and use a model that emphasizes relationships, growth, and skill-building. When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, hiking, spending time with my friends and family, and trying new things.
