Tameko Collins

Tameko Collins is a Senior Manager for Educator Support at MCP, based in Tulsa, OK. Her passion for the model is rooted in her own experience as a math teacher, where she saw the Modern Classrooms model transform her co-taught Algebra 1 room into a space where students thrived and she could truly connect with every learner. Now, she has the privilege of walking alongside educators through that same transformation, supporting them in their initial training and throughout the school year as they deepen their implementation.

Tameko holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Tulsa and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Oklahoma State University, where she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.

When she is not working on her dissertation, she can be found listening to an audiobook, exploring Tulsa's food scene, or spending time with her 3 cats.
