Rebecca Johnson

Rebecca is a high school geometry teacher with a desire to make math more accessible and engaging for all students. As a teacher in an alternative school setting in metro Atlanta, she is dedicated to creating a learning environment that supports her students' diverse and fluctuating learning needs. She strives to create a classroom that prioritizes student-centered learning where students can practice concepts at their own pace as they work towards mastery.

Rebecca is passionate about using Desmos to create activities that are intentionally crafted for her students. She builds each activity to include explicit instruction, immediate feedback and scaffolding as students work towards mastering the day's learning objective. She is committed to continuously refining her work to better meet the needs of every learner.
