Marvin Reed resides in the Bay area and is an educator at Rosa Parks Elementary School (Berkeley Unified School District). He holds a B.A. in Sociology, M.A. in Higher Education and Leadership Policies, and a Multiple Subjects Teaching and Administrative Service Credential. He is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership from California State University, Sacramento, where he was the Hornet Marching Band Drum Major. Marvin has judged and been a leadership consultant for many prestigious Marching Band programs around California (Granite Bay, Amador Valley, Foothill (Pleasanton), Homestead, Roseville, John F. Kennedy, Ayala, American Canyon, Liberty, Elk Grove, Washington Union, Antelope, Laguna Creek, California, and Ponderosa HS.) Marvin served on the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps Board of Directors. Currently, he serves as the Corps Director of Blue Devils "B."
