Marquitta Thomas

I, Marquitta Thomas, have a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education with my Professional Educator License and English as a Second Language Endorsement. Also, I have my Masters in Early Childhood Administration, and I am currently in school for my Doctorate Degree in Post-secondary Education. I have been in education for 10 years as a preschool teacher, preschool supervisor, developmental therapist, tutor, early childhood consultant, and adjunct in early childhood education. My love for children, as well as, having children of my own, has inspired me to learn everything that there is to know on how to support and develop our young children as I believe that children learn through hands on experiences that are concrete for learning and development. My philosophy of education is that children learn through multimodal approaches to create concrete and meaningful learning experiences. The interactive lessons that children learn will give them the necessary skills to thrive in their academic journey.
