Lauren Lutz-Coleman is the Senior Director of Curriculum Initiatives. A former classroom teacher and tech coach with more than a decade of K-12 experience, she has also led education and customer success teams at an ed-tech start-up before joining MCP. Throughout her career, Lauren has helped teachers use instructional practices that empower students to learn with confidence, independence, and joy.
Lauren earned her B.S. in Elementary Education, with specializations in English/Language Arts and Urban Education, from Boston University (Wheelock), and holds an M.A. in Learning Technologies Experience and Design (LTXD) from New York University (NYU Steinhardt).
She lives just a short walk from the ocean in New Jersey, perfectly situated between New York City and Philadelphia. Outside of work, Lauren can usually be found reading on the beach, jogging along the water, or fiercely competing at Thursday night trivia.
