Kaitie Pait

Kaitie Pait is a middle school math teacher at Western Branch Middle School in Chesapeake Public Schools, where she teaches Math 6 and Pre-Algebra. Kaitie has spent the past seven years serving as a teacher, math department chair, and district MCP Leader, and she is deeply passionate about helping students build confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation in mathematics.

Kaitie's love for teaching was shaped by her own experiences as a student and by the teachers who believed in her when she struggled. Those experiences inspired her to return to the same community where she grew up and dedicate her career to making a meaningful difference in students’ lives. In Kaitie's classroom, she prioritizes communication, encouragement, and creating a safe space where students feel comfortable taking risks and learning from mistakes.

Outside of school, Kaitie enjoy spending time with her husband and daughter, crafting, shopping together, and making magical memories with her family at Disney World. Teaching is more than a profession to Kaitie—it is a lifelong passion, and she strives every day to be the teacher her students need and deserve.
