My name is Eve Willoughby and I am a 19 year old college student studying elementary education. I first discovered my passion for education through a Career Technical Education (CTE) class offered through my intermediate school district. In that class I learned from two incredible lead teachers and three placement teachers and built a really strong foundation in education. Through that class I was able to accrue roughly 300 hours working with youth in classrooms settings. The connections I made helped me get my MI-YDA credential, present at a national conference, speak to future educators, gain 200 more hours in service with youth, and now speak on the MCP podcast. I am thrilled to share my love for education and how the MCP model supported me in becoming the aspiring educator I am.
