Dr. Ifeoma Uzoka is a data-driven mathematics leader with a deep passion for helping students experience the joy and confidence that come from learning mathematics with understanding. Her love for mathematics was ignited at New Jersey City University, where she completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in mathematics. She later earned her doctorate in Mathematics Education from Columbia University.
With over 25 years of experience teaching and leading in secondary and collegiate mathematics, Dr. Uzoka brings a strong blend of instructional expertise, data analysis, and leadership to her work. She currently serves as a District 6–12 Math Specialist for Atlanta Public Schools, where she supports schools in leveraging data to improve instructional practices, strengthen teacher capacity, and increase student achievement in mathematics.
