Cynthia Wilkins

Hi, I’m Cindy, and I’m really glad to be part of the conversation today. I’ve spent over 25 years in the K–12 classroom and the last 13 years in higher education, working in both teaching and leadership roles. Currently, I serve as the dean of online studies and public administration programs at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, where I focus on supporting faculty, enhancing course design, and helping students thrive in flexible learning environments. I’m especially passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that stay grounded in ethical teaching practices and meet students where they are. Modern Classrooms is a perfect combination of preparing students for a successful future and supporting teachers as they strive to reach every student, every day.
