Chris Isip is an elementary school music teacher in Milton, Ontario. He teaches Music to a wide range of students from grades 2 to 7 and students receiving special education services. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Music and a Master's degree in Musicology from York University, as well as a Master of Teaching degree from the University of Toronto: OISE. His research focuses on music performance anxiety in child and adolescent music students and classical crossover music as a bridge between classical music and youth audiences. When Chris is not teaching, he enjoys being a plant dad; tending to his variety of indoor and carnivorous plants. Chris wrote the method book "Sights & Sounds: Introduction to ear training and sight reading for the examining string player: For Violin"
